Cindy-Liz Ikie is a PhD Bioscience Research Scholar at Cardiff University and Black Human Rights Activist. Her research studies concern mammalian fertilisation with a view to improve assisted reproductive technology. An advocate for Black human rights, Cindy-Liz is most notably the Black Lives Matter Wales National Campaign Manager and she represents 13 regions of Wales: Rhondda Cynon Taff, Wrexham, Bangor, Merthyr, Cardiff, Port Talbot, Torfaen, Carmarthenshire, Abergavenny, Caerphilly, Swansea, Bridgend and Caernarfon.
